Aputula is a community of approximately 250 people located within traditional Eastern PY Land in the Northern Territory. It is 150 kilometres north of Kulgera in the southern Northern Territory. This places the community on the western edge of the Simpson Desert.

Aputula Community is a ‘Dry Area’ under the provisions of the Northern Territory Liquor Act.

The town includes a school , a health clinic , a general store & service station, Council Office and CDEP work-shops, a mechanical workshop, and there is an adjacent airstrip. An active Community Development Employment Program (CDEP) maintains much of the community facilities and developments.

This site offers a chance for the people to interact in community events and gives a closer look at what services and projects the Council is doing throughout the area.
